With easy access just minutes from junction 28 of the M6, this semi-rural wedding venue is an ideal place to say “I Do”. If you and your wedding guests party a little too long and your wedding celebrations go on late into the evening, the venue has 12 en-suite bedrooms available on site including a beautiful bridal suite for you to book into.
If you are looking for a wedding venue with a bit of character, Charnock Farm will not disappoint. This Lancashire wedding venue has a whole host of locations within the grounds for some amazing wedding photographs, from red bricked walls and high vaulted ceilings with exposed real oak beams, to a lake full of wildlife, a red tractor and a rustic water wheel.
I met with another local Lancashire wedding supplier, Andy at Destiny Wedding Cars in the New Year. We got chatting and within 24 hours we had a whole host of wedding suppliers wanting to join in the styled photoshoot and a Lancashire wedding venue, Charnock Farm.
With me as the wedding photographer, Andy bringing his wedding cars, Margaret with her wedding cake, Sam with her wedding flowers, Kerry doing makeup, Sharn arranging hair, Mel dressing the wedding venue, and Gemma providing us with wedding dresses, we suddenly had the dream team, and the planning started.
On the day of the photoshoot we all planned to meet at Charnock Farm at 10.00am and started the day fitting the models with their wedding dresses for the photo shoot, then off for hair and makeup.
The venue had already been dressed by Mel from Add A Little Sparkle from the previous day’s wedding fair and looked amazing, so I started to take photographs of the wedding room while Margaret from Rosehill Cake Studio started to assemble to wedding cake.
Once the models were ready we began to take photographs of them in the wedding room and around the wedding venue, as well as some behind the scenes photographs for the team to be able to use on their own social media and websites.
At the end of the day we used the wedding cars for more photographs. Don’t they look amazing – Destiny Wedding Cars.
